This course teaches basic job protocol as politeness, being considerate of others, and proper dress and appearance in the workplace. In addition, students will learn proper introductions and 'the handshake', conversation skills how to deal with interruptions peacefully, along with proper business email and telephone etiquette.

Creating a Job Portfolio
This course is recommended for those individuals who are ready for the job market. Students will examine the value of presenting themselves as a complete package by using a resume as an introduction to an employer and backing it up with a portfolio to be presented at the interview. In addition, students will design a personalized portfolio.

Job Search Skills
This course will teach students basic skills to complete a successful job search. Students will learn how to develop a winning resume, interview skills, prospective job lead, and where to find additional help. After completing this course, students will be ready to start the search for a perfect job. 

Mastering the Interview
The interview is one of the key elements of the job search process. In this course, students, will explore how to prepare for an interview and become familiar with the types of questions to expect, as well as the questions they should think about asking. They will learn how to prepare for second interviews, testing, and shadowing, as well as how to follow up on their interview sessions.

Anger Management

Body Language Basics

This course will teach students a seven-step conflict resolution process that they can use and modify to resolve conflict and disputes. Students will learn crucial conflict management skills, including dealing with anger and using the Agreement Frame.
